Brave wholesome woman risks life to save brother's dog after he falls into frozen river, she rescues the drowning doggo from -11 degree water

Happy Monday, animal fam. We hope you're keeping warm this wintery Monday with snow falling everywhere and the weather getting colder and colder. We don't know about you, but we had a snow day yesterday with all of the fluffy snowflakes that piled up around our houses. We let our dogs out to play in the snow, and let's just say that they had a much better time than we did. However, one doggo on the internet did not have some fun in the bitter winter weather after falling into a -11 degree (celsius) frozen river. That's around 12 degrees for those of you who don't speak celsius.

Luckily though, his hooman's sister jumped right into action, diving into the frozen river to help the doggo to safety. She loves her brother's dog as much as he does, so she didn't think twice about sacrificing everything for his safety. It just goes to show that dogs may be man's best friend, but us hoomans need our dogs as much as they need us. Watch the whole lifesaving video below!

We don't want to think about what we would do in this situation, but if it were our doggo, we certainly wouldn't be in the car filming. We would have jumped in to the water without a second thought, glasses on, phone in our pockets, everything. Nothing would come between us and getting our dog to safety. At least, we'd like think this is what we would do. We hope we never have to face a situation like this…and now we're paranoid that we just jinxed ourselves. Anyone know any jinx-removing rituals? We just threw salt over our left shoulder, smudged some sage, and knocked on wood. Did we forget any?

You'll see lower that a lot of the comments are focused on the brother not jumping into action to save his dog. Like we said earlier, we would have jumped from on top of the bridge to save them if we had to. Now, this video only shows a small portion of the rescue, so we're not sure why the brother was just up there filming. But, it does go to show that women have a much higher pain tolerance than men. How many men do you know that would willingly dive into -11 degree water and not bat an eye?
